Wonderfully informal and overwhelmingly positive, Chasing Driftwood is a really great place for new and aspiring writers to connect with other writers and gain new insights. – Toby Martin, writer
I very much appreciate the hard work put in by yourself to Tilly’s development, she has really enjoyed the club over the last few years and has blossomed in to what I believe a more imaginative writer. – David Johnson, parent
Just thought you might like to know that Zac’s been assigned an English teacher as his tutor! Apparently their tutor house is assigned based on their curriculum strengths 🙂 Zac definitely blossomed in relation to his love of writing by coming to your group. So a big thank you! – Lynne Baulch – parent
Chantelle has taught my 10-, 13- and 16-year-olds creative writing, and each of them have loved every moment and come away from each session full of enthusiasm, confidence and creative ideas. Chantelle has opened them to new styles of writing as well as new mediums, and through positive and constructive feedback has given them the courage to try new things. She has given them strategies for moving past writers block, on how to get their ideas out before they disappear and importantly on how to stick with a story until it is finished. Chantelle has been a gift to the creativity of my family, and I couldn’t recommend her more. – Adeola Sheehy-Adekale – parent
Chantelle is a very patient and kind teacher. She provides a low pressure, high energy environment which meets the children exactly where they are at. She’s always very interested in what they have to say individually and therefore any input from the pupils is always welcomed. Children are not forced to share any of their work and instead are encouraged to be personally proud of their achievements. I highly recommend her as an instructor. – Louise Teather – parent
Thank you so much! Evie came out of class last night and was so chuffed that you’d read her writing out then came home and read it out to all of us. We were really impressed. Her writing has come on in leaps and bounds since joining your class – Tracey Stroud – parent
She’s really enjoying the classes, she always looks forward to Tuesdays and comes home so excited to tell us about what she’s been doing.
Thank you – David Frampton – parent
